OpenAI announced that it will allow users to create their own versions of GPT for leisure or productive use cases. Users will be able to create these bots simply by prompting without needing to know anything about coding. The company will also allow enterprise customers to create exclusively internal GPTs based on the company's knowledge base.

OpenAI said it also plans to allow users to publish these GPTs to a store, which will arrive later this month. Initially it will have creations from “verified developers”. The company's CEO Sam Altman also talked about paying people with the popular GPTs.

In particular, Quora's Poe platform, which also allows users to create bots using prompts, opened a payment program for creators last week.

Sample GPTs are now available for ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Enterprise customers.

The first developer day event, OpenAI launched a new Assistants API to allow developers to create their own “agent-like experiences.” Developers can create agents that retrieve external knowledge or call programming functions for a specific action. The range of use cases includes a wizard for coding a vacation planner powered by Artificial Intelligence.

OpenAI's text-to-image model, DALL-E 3, is now available via an API with built-in moderation tools. The output regulations range from 1024×1024 to 1792×1024 in different formats. Open AI has priced the model at $0,04 per generated image.

The company launched a new Text to speech API called Audio API with six preset voices: Alloy, Echo, Fable, Onyx, Nova and Shimer. The API provides access to two generative AI models and is priced at $0,015 per 1.000 characters of input.

OpenAI also announced a new program called Copyright Shield at its developer conference, which promises to protect companies that use the AI ​​company's products from copyright claims. The company said it will pay legal fees if customers using the "generally available" OpenAI development platform and ChatGPT Enterprise face intellectual property lawsuits against content created by OpenAI tools.

Recently, companies such as Microsoft, Google-backed Cohere, Amazon and IBM have announced that they will compensate customers for intellectual property infringement claims.
